The pyramids of Ichkabal are part of an ancient Mayan city hidden for centuries in the jungle of southern Quintana Roo. Discovered in 1995 and officially registered with INAH on January 30, 1996, it was finally opened to the public on January 11, 2025. You will absolutely love doing this tour with us.
We begin with a 58 km journey from Bacalar to the archaeological zone, traveling through a road lined with palm trees, curves and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, we explore the site with a certified local guide.
After the visit, you'll be ready to cool off in the water. Back in Bacalar, a boat on the Lake of 7 Colors will be waiting. We sail for 3 hours visiting the most important sites of the lagoon: Black Cenote, Emerald Cenote, Pirate Channel, Bird Island and Cocalitos Cenote.
